Accredidations - FSC + PEFC Statement
In February 2007 Access Paper Limited gained FSC and PEFC accreditation, thus offering our customers the opportunity to promote responsible forestry management throughout the world.
Both FSC and PEFC accreditations function under a chain of custody system enabling end product to be tracked back along the supply chain to the forest of origin.
Chain of custody is the process by which the source of the timber product is verified. |

In order for products originating from certified sources to be eligible to carry the FSC Trademark, the timber has to be tracked from the forest through all the steps of the production process until it reaches the end user.
Only when this tracking has been independently verified the product is eligible to carry the FSC logo.
The FSC label enables consumers to choose paper products with the confidence that they are not contributing to the destruction of the worlds forests .By buying from certified sources you are providing an incentive for responsible forest management. FSC papers can be no more expensive than other substrates, so the opportunity exists to be environmentally friendly without increasing costs, whilst promoting your companies commitment to the environment through both mission statement and logo display.
